We offer a 100% fit guarantee. If your item isn't the perfect fit, you can get a full refund minus the AED 35 delivery.
Just request to return the item within 4 hours of receiving it by going to the Rental Booking in your Dashboard and quoting "item does not fit" as the reason. You have up to 4 hours to complete this action, after which you will need to contact us directly. You can do this through Dashboard > My rental record > Return.
We offer two options for wardrobe review and upload:
1. Uploads can be managed via WhatsApp, just send us a message with a picture of the item, the size on the tag, the designer name, and whether the item is for Rent, Resale, or Both.
2. Or if you’ve got 30+ items to list, we'll come to you, conduct a wardrobe review and list your pieces on the spot. ????✨

Every Keeper has a BKS wallet.
If you are a Lender, the earnings you make from renting out your items will reflect here as BKS credit. AED 1 is one credit.
You have two options in terms of spending the credit in your wallet. You can: 1. Spend them renting on the site 2. Request to have them transferred to your bank account by going to My Account > BKS Wallet > Bank Transfer Request.

You can rent multiple items from the same closet. Chances are you may be able to rent the whole look (hello matching accessories) from the same lender.
Please note: If you rent different items from different members, the transactions will be separate so you can track each order.
Your item will arrive on the first day of your booking. In the unfortunate event that the item is not delivered by the requested delivery date, the item that is delivered is not as described or shown on the site or is not in acceptable condition, you will be entitled to a full refund of Rental Price and delivery charges. You can request a refund at RENTING> SELECT ITEM >RETURN within 4 hours of receiving the item.

Item is in poor condition/damaged
Item looks different to image/description on site
Incorrect item received
Item didn't arrive in time

Reviews are core to our site, they help us to keep the community accountable and facilitate trust among Keepers. We work on a star system, with 5 stars being the highest rating. It is mandatory for both the Renter and Lender to rate each other when the rental is complete.
At the time of review we also encourage Renters to upload a picture of them wearing the item IRL, helping future renter’s access size and fit information.
We are a digital business so don’t have a physical store but we have a try-on service.
Here is how it works:
- You can order up to 3 items at a time but they must be from only one lender’s wardrobe
- Book the service for a time when you’ll be home and can try-on the item/s immediately

We understand that plans can change, you can cancel the booking and receive a full refund up until the booking date. If you constantly book and cancel items Best Kept Shared reserves the right to revoke your membership.
For Rental, your item will arrive on the first day of your booking. If you opt for our traditional peer-to-peer model, your items will stay with you. Just remember to block out dates when you need the item and have it dry cleaned before the next rental.
We also offer a Managed Wardrobe service, where we store your items and handle rental requests. If you want to wear an item from your Managed Wardrobe, simply cover the delivery cost.

Best Kept Shared makes a pricing recommendation to calculate the rental fee based on roughly 10-15% of the original retail price (10% for 3 day rentals, 15% for 7 day rentals).
We adust pricing on each induvidual product based on market demand and comparable listings, but all recommendations are overridable by you.
For resale, we recommend the current market rate based on comparative research, you also have the ability to override this recommended pricing.
All items listed on Best Kept Shared are curated to meet the following criteria:
A. We accept clothing, bags, shoes, and accessories that are under 5 years old from Contemporary & Luxury designers.
B. Items must be authentic and in pristine condition. Spot checks and authenticity proof will be required during upload.
C. We do not accept fast fashion brands; items must have a minimum original retail value of AED 500.
For a list of accepted designers, check the List An Item Designer Dropdown. You can also request a new designer if needed. Best Kept Shared reserves the right to update or reject listings and criteria at any time.
AUTHENTICITY:
At Best Kept Shared, we only accept 100% authentic products. Lenders must provide proof of authenticity when uploading items and products are subject to spot checks.
By signing up to Best Kept Shared and agreeing to our terms and conditions, Lenders confirm that none of their listed items are of questionable authenticity, stolen or counterfeit. If Best Kept Shared identifies an item as stolen or counterfeit, we will notify the Lender, who must provide acceptable proof of authenticity. Failure to do so will result in immediate banning from the site.
Best Kept Shared reserves the right to confiscate and not return stolen or counterfeit items. If we incur liability for such items, the Lender will be held responsible. Personal information may be shared with law enforcement or rights holders to trace the origin of stolen or counterfeit items at our discretion.
Renters can reserve an item up to six months in advance.
If you are looking for a designer that is not yet listed on the site you can request to 'Add a new designer' on the designers page
Nothing at all! We work on a commission based model so we only make money when you make money.
Your earnings are deposited into your Best Kept Shared Wallet once the transaction is complete, calculated as the Rental/Sale fee minus our 30% commission and the AED 25 delivery fee.
You can use the credit for future rentals or purchases on the site, or request a bank transfer via My Account > BKS Wallet.
Please note:
A) Transfers take 7-10 working days, depending on your bank.
B) There is a AED 1 processing fee for bank transfers.
C) We only transfer to UAE banks and in AED currency.
Great photos are the key to a great listing! Photograph the item on a hanger or mannequin (make sure they are straight) with a plain white background so the item really pops and be sure to shoot from multiple angles and capture the item details.
To remove items from the background you can use an AI background remover tool like: https://www.remove.bg/ or https://magicstudio.com/
We also have an IRL feed where you can upload street style pictures of you wearing the item. In the future renters will share photos of them in your item IRL, this will appear on the product listing page.
Best Kept Shared may remove the background, edit, use or remove any photographs uploaded on the site at our discretion.
As a Lender, you can cancel a booking free of charge up to one week before the rental date. Cancellations made within a week of the rental date incur a AED 150 penalty.
To cancel, go to Lending > Order Management in your dashboard and complete a short cancellation form with one of the following reasons:
Last minute travel / No longer interested in renting the item/ Item is sold
Best Kept Shared will cover minor wear and tear repairs (e.g., buttons, zippers) up to AED 150 per item.
For damage beyond repair, the Renter is liable for the item’s current market value.
Best Kept Shared is not liable for damages exceeding AED 150 but will assist the Lender by providing the Renter's contact details and facilitating communication to resolve the issue.

We provide our Renters with the ability to try on products to ensure they fit.
How it works:
- The Renter can book items to try on from only one lender’s wardrobe at a time
- The Renter will book the service for a time when they are home and can try-on the item/s immediately
- Our courier will collect the item/s from you. Bring them to the Renter to try and then bring them back to you once the try-on is complete.
The round trip will usually take between 1 -3 hours.
For Managed Wardrobe service, Best Kept Shared will store your items in-house and manage the rental requests & logistics for you. There's nothing for you to do, except receive the earnings. The Managed Wardrobe doesn't come with any upfront fees but we take a 50% commission on items rented and sold.

Most bookings are for same-day or next-day delivery, so please accept rental requests as soon as you see them.
You will be notified via email, on-site notifications, and WhatsApp when a request comes through.
If you are wearing the listed items yourself, ensure you dry clean them immediately after use to keep them ready for the next rental request.
To ensure a safe and secure community, all Keepers must complete our ID Verification and liveness testing before their first transaction.
A two-way review system is required after each transaction from both the Renter and Lender to ensure a positive experience. Excellent reviews will enhance your reputation and increase your chances of future rentals or lending.
We enforce a strict one-strike policy for offenses, such as damaging items, not returning items on time, repeatedly canceling requests, or lending counterfeit items. Offenders will be removed from the Best Kept Shared community.
ID verification is mandatory for both Renters and Lenders on our site. The process takes between 1-3 minutes to complete during which time you‘ll be asked to upload your Emirates and perform a liveness test.
Your ID documentation is not stored by Best Kept Shared. All documentation is held by a secure third party ID verification provider.
It is proven that users with a profile picture gain higher rental conversion rates as it helps to build to trust if someone can put a face to a name. However, although we highly recommend you to add a profile picture, we respect that some people like their privacy.
In this instance we offer an option to ensure that your photo is hidden and it will only be shown to perspective lenders or renters once they have requested to rent or lend an item from you.

Respecting the rental period is crucial, as many Lenders have short turnaround times between rentals. Returning items late may leave them out of pocket.
A late fee of AED 150 per day will be charged to the Renter for overdue returns.
If an exceptional circumstance prevents you from returning the item on time, contact the Lender to explain the situation and request flexibility on the return date.

Best Kept Shared manages the pick up and delivery of the item via our 3rd party delivery and dry cleaning supplier.
First point of call is to contact us at 055 570 1717 or [email protected] and contact the lender via the onsite messaging system, we may still be able to get the item to you in time.
However, if it is too late you can request a refund on your RENTING TAB > SELECT BOOKING >RETURN
Please select 'Item didn't arrive in time' as the reason for return.
Refunds will be made back to the payment solution used initially by the customer.
